Ingredients (for 4 portions)
30g Minced Dried Shrimp
100ml Coconut Milk
4nos Eggs, hardboiled and peeled
2 pieces Tau Kwa, cut into quarter triangles and deep fried
400g Compressed Rice Cakes, cut into cubes
600g Sayuer Lodeh
Crispy Fried Shallots
- In a braising pot, heat oil and fry the dried shrimps till fragrant. Add coconut milk and bring to boil.
- Add the rest of ingredients except rice cakes. Bring to boil and simmer briefly. Check seasoning.
- Divide rice cakes in serving bowls. Fill each bowl with vegetable stew and sprinkle some fried shallots before serving.
